Born of Steel, The Fencer

Born of Steel, the Fencer

This piece was shot by Mrs. Harte before her business merger with another local company. It was my pose that she thought was both creative and stylish. It was one of the two fencing poses I liked how they turned out. Was a picture taken over a year ago, so my hair's gotten longer...

Artistic Comments:
I feel it shows something of an elegance, for if the blade were replaced with a woman's hand, the pose could be similar to that of a spin in a waltz, and the silver-white of the vest and leggings detracts from the feel, but blank canvas is better than no canvas, ehh?

The Crow

Sun Aug 30, 2009, 9:20 PM
From the vantage up on high,
Sits the Crow, monitoring the traffic flow.
Suddenly an anomaly, a bullet in the abyss,
The scream of a chorus of devils in the night,
The only sound that breaks from this steel behemoth.

It's eyes close for a split second,
The behemoth's claws rip at the ground,
Tossing dirt and mud to the air.
It screams once more as fire erupts,
and the beast is engulphed.
In its death rattle, the crushing of metal,
The bending of steel, echoes around the woods.
The carcass will lie entombed around a willow.

Cold blood and hells fires send it's spirit ever after,
The crow caws out, and flies into the dawns first rays.
